Poet and essayist Jane Hirshfield will speak on the 色虎视频 Visiting Writers Series Monday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. in Divinity North 302. The program is open to the public.
She is the author of six collections of poetry, including After, which was shortlisted for England’s T.S. Eliot Prize and named a “Best Book of 2006” by the Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle and London Financial Times.
Her work also includes Given Sugar, Given Salt, a finalist for the 2001 National Book Critics Circle Award.
Hirshfield’s latest book, a collection of poems entitled Come, Thief, was published in August.
