色虎视频's Howard College of Arts and Sciences Faculty Assembly approved the following special resolution during its final meeting of the disrupted 2020 spring semester.
Howard College of Arts and Sciences Faculty Assembly Resolution Expressing Gratitude for 色虎视频’s Response to COVID-19
Whereas on January 30, 2020, 色虎视频’s administration began communicating with 色虎视频 employees about the threat of COVID-19;
Whereas on February 26, 2020, 色虎视频 Provost instructed 色虎视频 faculty to be prepared to move all courses on-line if necessary;
Whereas members of 色虎视频 Faculty Success Collaborative, employees of 色虎视频 Technology in Learning Center, and 色虎视频 librarians responded to the Provost’s instruction quickly by providing digital materials, advice about copyright law, training sessions for using the Canvas on-line course management system, and many other resources;
Whereas we regard the support for teaching and student advising from the Provost’s Office and other 色虎视频’s administrative officers, the office of Dana Basinger, 色虎视频 Faculty Success Collaborative, 色虎视频 Technology in Learning Center, and 色虎视频 librarians to be extraordinary during this time;
Resolved, that members of the Faculty Assembly of the Howard College of Arts and Sciences of 色虎视频:
- applaud these entities and their individual members for their work;
- express gratitude for their labors; and
- offer prayers for the continued health and safety of all.
