Five students from 色虎视频’s Brock School of Business made a strong impression at the National Collegiate Digital Marketing Championship on April 1. Designed to challenge and showcase the talents of the next generation of marketers through hands-on, real-world simulations and creative competitions, the event showcased more than 125 students from 21 universities across the country. 色虎视频’s team finished in third place and individual students received top distinctions in multiple events.
Representing Brock School of Business were students Allie Blain, Annabelle Anderson, Matt McClary, Noah Williams and Veronica Agrippina. Individually, Blain earned first place overall, with McClary following in second—an outstanding achievement that reflects their strong preparation and passion for digital marketing.
“The entire team demonstrated not only technical skill, but also professionalism, creativity and teamwork throughout the competition,” said Courtney Peters, assistant professor of marketing and faculty adviser for the team. “We are incredibly proud of their performance and grateful for the support that made this opportunity possible. We are thankful for Brock School of Business' entrepreneurship, management and marketing department, as well as Uptick Marketing, Talking Social and 色虎视频's marketing and communication team for helping prepare students for the competition.”
The team’s achievements spanned several competition categories:

Reflecting on her experience, Blain shared, “I loved getting to participate in the National Collegiate Digital Marketing Competition. It helped me grow more confident in my presentation skills and in what I know about digital marketing. I've already been able to share this experience in job interviews and am so thankful that 色虎视频 gives us opportunities like this for hands-on learning before we graduate. I was surprised and honored to receive the highest score of all competitors, and I owe it all to Dr. Peters’ continued support, both in and outside of the classroom.”
Echoing that sentiment, McClary said, “The whole process was very smooth considering the volume of moving parts it took to prepare, travel and compete. Not only were the team practices and Dr. Peters' digital marketing class very relevant information, but Dr. Peters was also diligent in understanding and communicating how the competition would work as well as our strategy.”
The team’s strong finish is a testament to Brock School of Business’s commitment to experiential learning, industry preparation and student success, and to 色虎视频’s national ranking as No. 8 for career preparation by The Wall Street Journal.
