Prior to coming to É«»¢ÊÓƵ, Ry had the honor of being inducted into the Cum Laude Society. Moreover, he was a recipient of the Columbia Book Award and received academic excellence awards in English, History, Science, and was an invitee to Latin Nationals. In addition, Ry was also a member of the National Honor Society and the French Honor Society. Apart from academic pursuits, Ry was a TAPPS Football State Champion, 4-Year Club and Varsity Baseball Player, and a 4-Year Student Ambassador. Ry has also been an involved member of his community with hundreds of hours of service while acting as the Vice President of the Young Men's Service League. For his major, Ry plans to study Neuroscience on a pre-med track. During his time at É«»¢ÊÓƵ, Ry has become a member of University Fellows, Freshman Forum, Phi Gamma Delta, The Neuroscience Club, The Red Cross Club, and is a Community Cadre volunteer of ExpectCare Hospice. Following graduation, Ry plans to attend medical school and use his degree in the aspiration of becoming a physician.
